SMP Law Honours Orange Shirt Day

SMP Law honours Orange Shirt Day for Truth and Reconciliation. SMP Law is wearing orange today to remember the Indigenous children whose lives were lost at residential schools. We honour the victims, survivors and the families and communities impacted.

SMP Law encourages everyone to spend time committing to learning about Canada’s history and what it has meant for Indigenous people. See below for some links to educate yourself, consider donating or how to get involved:

·       National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation

·       Indian Residential School Survivors Society

·       Native Women’s Association of Canada
